The first trailer has been released for the latest vehicle for Chris Pratt’s voice, this time providing the voice of the lasagna-loving orange cat we all know and love, Garfield.
The Garfield Movie looks to be a family-friendly adventure giving viewers a look into not only how Garfield found himself in the arms of Jon, but also his backstory, including meeting his father Vic (Samuel L. Jackson).
As the synopsis reads, “Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) – Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.”
The Garfield Movie hits theaters on May 24, 2024.
