Night & Day Studios presents Ed Emberleyʼs Shake & Make, a colorful puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod Touch
May 2nd, 2011, PORTLAND, OR – Night & Day Studios, a leading developer of kidsʼ apps, has teamed up with the iconic author and childrenʼs book illustrator Ed Emberley to create the first-ever Emberley iPhone game: Shake & Make. This is Night & Day Studiosʼ first casual game for older kids and adults, branching out beyond their focus on educational apps for toddlers and elementary-school children.
Emberley has been enticing kids and adults for decades, with his classic Drawing Book/ Make a World series, Funprints, and Picture Pie. His stylized approach to drawing, and mission to teach everyone that they can learn to draw, has captured loyal fans and inspired creativity for decades. A Caldecott Award winner, Emberley has jumped into the interactive mobile world with this game based on his modular drawing style. While playing this puzzle game, kids (and grownups) will learn some fundamentals of creating art and hopefully will be inspired to create their own drawings! Night & Day Studios is already working on the second Emberley app, turning the Make a World series into a how-to-draw app for the iPad.
