The mobile advertising company Jumptap has released a color-coded map, entitled “United States of Android” that shows which mobile phone platform dominates the data of each state’s users.
Yellow states are dominated by Android users, blue states by iOS users, and gray states are still hanging onto Blackberry. As can be seen, the preference almost seems regional in terms of preferred mobile phone platform, with Kentucky joining most of it’s surround states as iOS dominated. Keep in mind this map does not reflect anything beyond the data of 83 million users on the varying wireless networks.
